Marijuana Unite is organizing ‘Smoke and Toke 920’ which they believe will help “calm down America and bring unity and peace.” The founder of the organization Ran Mitchell says with all the rising tensions over the last few months with police shootings and rioting, America needs a solution for change.
“Dude, everyone is so stressed out. Everyone talks about wanting world peace but no one can give us a solution for it,” said Mitchell. “But the truth is, the solution has been right in front of us the entire time. Stop thinking that marijuana is bad and join us. I promise, just take a few hits and you are guaranteed to laugh your *ss off.”
Mitchell’s “solution” is the ‘1st Annual Smoke and Toke 920’ that will be held in Seattle, Washington on September 20, 2016 at 4:20 pm PST. They are hoping that people across the world will join in, having everybody high at the same time. “We want people to just chill out, stop hating, and love one another. I guarantee you the crime rate will drop too. Come on, who’s joining in?” Mitchell is asking people to spread the word with the hashtag #SmokeToke920 and give weed a chance.
