In a revealing tell all, Professor Alain Branchereau describes the chilling details of abuse endured by the young Michael Jackson at age 12. In his 256 page book called Michael Jackson, the Secret of a Voice, he describes how Jackson was given medication just as he approached adolescence which had castrated him, chemically that is.
The medication that Michael Jackson was forced to take was a type of acne medication called Cyproterone, which works by blocking the actions of testosterone. By working on a male’s testosterone it turns him into an Eunuch. An Eunuch’s voice will remain high pitched and he will continue to grow when other boys stop doing so. As the professor says, Michael Jackson’s voice had not deepened, broken as we say, and he was the only tall one in the family of short people.
So, did Michael Jackson realized that the medication he had been given to clear his acne had preserved his squeaky voice, and had he consequently kept on taking it? Was this something that was forced by his father Joe Jackson because of the popularity of young Michael’s voice?
The professor, who studied Michael Jackson’s medical documents and autopsy report, reveals that Michael Jackson had continued to take the medication up to age 20. It was at age 20 that the singer had broken ties with his father who had, until then, been the manager of the Jackson Five. Branchereau says this was just another way that the father of the young Jackson’s continued his abuse in order to push for fame and fortune.
And it worked – Jackson popularized a number of complicated dance techniques and was known for his distinctive sound and style as he influenced numerous artists of various music genres. His album Thriller is still the best selling album of all time, with an estimated sales of 65 million copies worldwide. Jackson’s death triggered a global outpouring of grief, and a live broadcast of his public memorial service was viewed around the world. Forbs currently ranks Jackson as the top earning dead celebrity, a title held for a sixth consecutive year, with $115 million in earnings.
